Sandiwood Farm
Bob and Sara Schlosser along with their two now adult children Sandi and Kyle Woody, have built and worked the land that is Sandiwood Farm over the last 22 years and still growing strong.
We produce organic plants, chemical free produce, cut flowers and boil maple syrup from our sugarbush. Sara is a Justice of the Peace and gets great joy in marrying couples either on the farm or elsewhere. Bob is a master carpenter and also hires himself out for nearby tractor work.
Chef Sandi caters and uses the farm raised produce and meats for her culinary delights, while Kyle is studying at UVM and plans to come back to the changing family farm and be the photographer and work on other farm projects.
Presently we market our crops from our farm, at the Stowe farmers market on Sundays from May - Oct., wholesale to restaurants and mail order maple syrup.
We are dedicated to being stewards of and earn our living from this land while nurturing ourselves and the community we serve.
Vegetable farming and sugaring come with their share of difficulties and challenges. Not even tropical storm Irene that came through our farm in late August can dampen our spirits to not continue to do what we believe in. GROW
We are eager to be a part of a flourishing local food system, and work hard to offer the best quality produce to our customers.
